Last Saturday was no exception with absolutely glorious weather for the annual Strawberry Festival at Sandstone Point Hotel at Sandstone Point.Held in the height of the strawberry season this event is in support of and a celebration of all the local strawberry farmers. Everything strawberry was on offer from cocktails, cider and milkshakes to strawberries and champagne and chocolate coated strawberries. The Sandstone Point Hotel is positioned on the Bribie Island passage at the base of the Bribie Island Bridge (on the western side). A fantastic family friendly venue where you can enjoy the facilities of the bistro or outdoor seating or bring your own chairs and picnic rugs. There's soccer nets set up for the kids to bring their own ball and a play area where the kids can let their imagination go wild.We love attending the large events where Sandstone Point require the extra services of cash facilities as their events never fail to impress.
